Sons of Silence MC Germany

Der Sons of Silence Motorcycle Club wurde 1966 in Niwot, Colorado (USA) gegründet und ist Teil der amerikanischen Motorcycle-Club-Kultur der 1960er Jahre. Das erste Chapter entstand in Denver und ist bis heute aktiv.

Bereits 1968 begann die Expansion innerhalb der Vereinigten Staaten mit der Gründung weiterer Chapter in Iowa. In den folgenden Jahrzehnten entwickelte sich eine kontinuierliche Ausweitung der Clubstruktur in zahlreiche US-Bundesstaaten, darunter Indiana, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, North Dakota, Arkansas, Wyoming, Kentucky, Florida, Mississippi, Missouri und Utah. Ergänzend wurde ein Nomad Chapter etabliert, das überregional innerhalb der USA aktiv ist.

Expansion nach Deutschland

1998 wurde im Großraum München das erste Chapter außerhalb der Vereinigten Staaten gegründet. Damit begann die internationale Präsenz des Clubs in Europa.

Die Entwicklung in Deutschland verlief anschließend in mehreren klaren Ausbaustufen:

• 1998: Gründung des ersten Chapters im Großraum München
• 2001: Offizielle Aufnahme bestehender Chapter in die Nation:
  - Freising
  - Gangkofen
• 2002: Gründung des Chapters South Central
• 2007: Gründung des Chapters Viernheim
• 2010: Gründung des Chapters Erding
• 2025: Aufnahme des Chapters Steinach in die Nation

Deutschland heute

Heute ist Deutschland ein fester Bestandteil der internationalen Struktur des Clubs. Die Chapter sind regional verankert und gleichzeitig in die internationale Organisation eingebunden. Die Entwicklung zeigt eine kontinuierliche Erweiterung über mehr als zwei Jahrzehnte hinweg und eine stabile Präsenz innerhalb der deutschen Chapter-Struktur.

The Sons of Silence Motorcycle Club was founded in 1966 in Niwot, Colorado (USA) and is part of the American motorcycle club culture of the 1960s. The first chapter was established in Denver and remains active to this day.

Already in 1968, the club began expanding within the United States with new chapters being founded in Iowa. Over the following decades, the structure continued to grow across numerous U.S. states, including Indiana, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, North Dakota, Arkansas, Wyoming, Kentucky, Florida, Mississippi, Missouri, and Utah. In addition, a Nomad Chapter was established, operating across regions within the United States.

Expansion to Germany

In 1998, the first chapter outside the United States was founded in the greater Munich area, marking the beginning of the club’s international presence in Europe.

The development in Germany continued in several clear stages:

• 1998: Founding of the first chapter in the greater Munich area
• 2001: Official integration of existing chapters into the Nation:
  - Freising
  - Gangkofen
• 2002: Founding of the South Central Chapter
• 2007: Founding of the Viernheim Chapter
• 2010: Founding of the Erding Chapter
• 2025: Integration of the Steinach Chapter into the Nation

Germany today

Today, Germany is a firmly established part of the international structure of the club. The chapters are regionally rooted while being fully integrated into the global organization. The development reflects continuous expansion over more than two decades and a stable presence within the German chapter structure.
